As the nation reels from the horrific attacks on a Colorado Springs, Colorado Planned Parenthood location by domestic terrorist Robert Lewis Dear, the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police has taken the horrific tragedy and turned it into an opportunity to lash out at the Black Lives Matter Movement.
It has been pointed out that Dear, who killed three people, including a police officer, and injured nine others, was taken alive. The same is true of the white supremacist who killed nine churchgoers in an historic black church in South Carolina this summer. Hell, not only did they not harm him after he shot that church up, they also bought him food from Burger King. I guess a guy needs a little something to eat after a night of hateful, murderous rampaging and running from the cops. Another such case is the Aurora theater shooter, where James Holmes, the lunatic who dressed up like a cross between the Joker and Rambo, went on what is perhaps the most deadly massacre in recent memory (hard to tell — we have so many). Now, what do these crazed murderers all have in common? It’s simple: They are white.
The Colorado Fraternal Order of Police didn’t like the racial disparities being pointed out one bit, so they went on a bitter Facebook rant, which reads in part:
“In yesterday’s heroic police action the shooter was given the opportunity to surrender. The choice to live or die was his. He chose to live, laid down his weapon, complied with all commands and peacefully surrendered. What the race baiting morons who believe that he was spared because he was white fail to acknowledge is that just this year alone there have been numerous shootings of police officers where the suspects were taken into custody. Many of those suspects were persons of color.”
And, in an apparent effort to dig their hole even deeper, the statement continues by passive aggressively taking shots at “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot,” which is a slogan that is associated with the death of Ferguson teenager Michael Brown, who was shot and killed by white police officer Darren Wilson. This was a clear shot at the Black Lives Matter movement. In case of the post’s removal, here is a screen capture of the full text:
That bastion of truth that is so well- known for calling people out, Twitter, definitely had something to say about the fact that yet another white shooter was taken alive, while it is obvious that if that shooter had been black, he’d have been shot on sight. Black people don’t get the chance to surrender. Tamir Rice. Eric Garner. Michael Brown. Laquan McDonald. So many others. None of those people were given the opportunity to surrender. Guess what they all have in common? They were all black. And therein lies the difference. Here are just a few of the tweets that have the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police so enraged:
Tamir Rice was a black kid with a toy gun shot by cops in seconds. Robert Lewis Dear is white, killed a cop but is alive. #BlackLivesMatter

Only in American does a white man who commit domestic terrorism shoot 5 cops, kill 3,injure 9, and still come out alive #PlannedParenthood

Of course, the Colorado FOP didn’t like these tweets or those like them. Their rant concluded:
“Sadly there are race baiting delusional ignorant fools with an agenda of hate that use any tragic event to peddle their corrupted opinion. What they don’t understand is our job is to preserve life not take it. You see for us all lives matter.”
And that just goes to show that they are the “ignorant fools” here, not the people who criticize the obviously racist nature of police culture nationwide. That culture is saving the lives of murderous white terrorists, and taking the lives of innocent people of color.
