A South Carolina man might understand now that sitting on a loaded weapon is a very bad idea.
The unidentified Union man suffered a gunshot wound after he sat on a gun, according to a police report from the Union Police Department, however, we find that his story is full of holes (pun not intended, maybe).
The police report said a police officer was called to a residence in regards to a shooting, according to WYFF.
When a police officer arrived on the scene, he said he found a man lying in the floor in a bedroom with a gunshot wound to the left leg.
Here’s where the story starts getting murky, aside from the man Second Amendmenting himself.
The officer then asked the man where the gun was, and he told him someone left with it but he didn’t know who it was, according to the report.
The story gets even worse.
According to the police report, the man told the officer he got out of the shower, sat down in the chair, and the gun went off.
The officer found a shell casing on the floor next to the chair, the report said.
To reiterate, the man claims he was taking a shower, then sat on a chair and accidentally shot himself. Meanwhile, someone he doesn’t know just happened to be strolling by in his bathroom or bedroom and took the gun.
Oh sure, like that’s never happened to any of you. Who amongst us can say we don’t take showers with a parade of strangers walking through the bathroom?
And the South Carolina man had a gun nearby for self-defense because showers are scary. Sounds legit. We’ve all seen Psycho.
Meanwhile, in Jacksonville, Florida at a Steak ‘n Shake, an unidentified man accidentally shot himself in the foot at the restaurant, according to the sheriff’s office.
We hope these two men never meet up.
