So, Donald Trump thinks that statutory rape is okay? It is ironic the man who uses the 10-point scale to judge women is about a 1.27. He obsesses about women’s appearance, mistaking physical appearance for skill, experience, and ability. He even objectified his own infant daughter.
When former Miss Universe Alicia Machado gained 20 pounds, the Trumpster took her to the gym, where he made her exercise to the point of exhaustion. He fat-shamed Machado, calling her “Miss Piggy” and “Eating Machine,” and left the stunning woman with an eating disorder.
Then, when Hillary Clinton called him out on Machado at the presidential debate, Trump couldn’t leave it alone. Tuesday he brought the former Miss Universe up on Fox & Friends:
‘She was the [Miss Universe] winner, and she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem.’
Comedian Trevor Noah, host of The Daily Show, called him the “Master of Sexism.” After all, the real estate mogul is undoubtedly, the most misogynistic presidential candidate in modern American history. Trump’s sexualization of women is “pathological,” according to The Daily Beast:
‘This beauty standard of Trump’s isn’t just a personal thing with him. He applies these principles to his professional life as well. Here he is onstage explaining his hiring policy to a young woman who has just asked for a job.’
Then, Trevor compiled a clip of Trump speaking at the 2007 Learning Annex in San Francisco. The clip shows him with his arm around a beautiful woman:
‘I had a case, it’s very interesting, a beautiful girl who was 17 or 18, and applied to be a waitress. So beautiful. She’s like a world-class beauty.
‘My people came, they said, “Mr. Trump, she has no experience.” So I interviewed her anyway because she was so pretty. And I said, “Let me ask you, do you have any experience?” She goes, “No sir.” I said, “When can you start?”‘
Clearly, beauty was his only criterion for hiring the woman. Then, The Daily Show host and researchers found another clip. Trevor said:
‘It’s December 2004, and America is in a tizzy over a sex scandal in which a 23-year-old middle-school teacher was arrested for having sex with a 14-year-old student — aka a sex crime. And in an appearance on a morning radio show, Donald Trump was kind enough to share some of his thoughts.’
This is about the case of Debra Lafave, a 23-year-old middle-school teacher in Temple Terrace, Florida. She plead guilty to “lewd and lascivious battery” for having intercourse with a 14-year-old student on four individual occasions.
Trump went on the Imus In The Morning show in December 2004, where he said:
‘How would you like to be the husband of the wife who was playing around with a 14-year-old kid? Unbelievable. By the way, did you see what she looked like?’
Imus replied, “Not bad.” Trump was incredulous:
‘Not bad? Yeah, I’d say so. I know a lot of guys who are trying to date her right now, Don.’
That was when the GOP candidate went off the rails:
‘So do you think this 14-year-old kid is scarred forever? He might have put the moves on her.
‘It might have given him confidence, actually.’
Imus nailed Trump:
‘You know, for a man who’s so pessimistic about America, about the world, about humanity as a whole, Donald Trump has a surprisingly glass-half-full perspective on adults banging middle-schoolers. I mean, wow, is there anything that Donald Trump doesn’t judge by how hot the woman is?’
Trevor was spot on when he said:
‘Let’s be honest here, folks: There’s only one pig in this whole story, and it’s the one that got slaughtered at the debate on Monday.’
Well said, Trevor. Well said.
