A former child star of the hit American television show The Brady Bunch has just come under fire for carrying on with a series of bizarre comments, including a vile homophobic rant, all in the context of her role as a host on LA Talk Radio.
This incident first began to unfold when a talk radio co-host of Susan Olsen’s called her out for her indecent, outrageous ramblings on her show, most of which were coughed-up versions of widely circulated pro-Trump talking points.
Leon Acord-Whiting wrote Dec. 7 on Facebook, saying in part:
‘It is wildly irresponsible for LA Talk Radio to allow a Trump fanatic to co-host one of their programs, where she can spew her idiotic lies unchecked. (Being a liberal and a patriot are mutually exclusive? Hillary is causing the protests & hate crimes? The Koran is a political tract?)… Susan Olsen spreads outrageous misinformation & it is dangerous and unprofessional.’
And Olsen’s response certainly confirmed Whiting’s assertions about her character and professionalism.
First to surface was a Facebook post from Olsen the day after Whiting’s post, calling him a “little piece of human waste.”
The real kicker came when Whiting posted a screenshot of how Olsen responded to his Facebook via private message.
Olsen wrote, in part, “Hey there little p*ssy, let me get my big boy pants on and Reallly [sic] take you on!!!… You are the biggest f*ggot ass in the world the biggest p*ssy!… Lying f*ggot!”
Olsen was, by all appearances, fired after she flipped out on Whiting. LA Talk Radio posted a message on Facebook that they had parted ways with an unnamed host after the host had acted inappropriately towards the LGBT community.
Olsen played “Cindy,” one of the youngest Brady children, on The Brady Bunch. Her comments come just a few years after she first spoke out movingly in support of the LGBT community after the death of her TV dad, Robert Reed, who was a closeted homosexual and died after being infected with HIV.
This incident is obviously hardly the first time that Trump supporters have come under fire for vile behavior. Indeed, such behavior is almost a given with Trump supporters, and in some cases has resulted in the violent brutalization of members of the LGBT community by Trump supporters, a brutalization that Trump has enjoyed inciting.
