Clinton Campaign Returns – Berates FBI For Ignoring Flynn’s Treason & Attacking Hillary

The questions just keep coming regarding the numerous connections Trump’s team members have to Russia, especially in light of the resignation of President Trump’s national security adviser, Michael Flynn, who stepped down amidst accusations that he had discussed important security matters with the Russian ambassador to the United States.

Things got even worse for Trump and his staffers on Tuesday, when The New York Times reported that the FBI was aware of ongoing communications between members of Trump’s campaign team and Russian operatives.

If anyone has a right to be upset about the fact that the FBI kept this information under wraps, it’s Hillary Clinton and those who worked with her on her campaign. FBI director James Comey very likely cost Clinton the White House when he decided to release a letter just days before the election announcing that new evidence had been discovered that might possibly be relevant to the investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server.

Hillary Clinton herself has not commented on this new development in the ongoing train wreck that is Donald Trump’s presidency; however, her former campaign manager, Robby Mook, took to Twitter to point out the FBI’s hypocrisy.

Mook tweeted on Tuesday:

‘I’d like the FBI to explain why they sent a letter about Clinton but not this.’

Mook also took a swing at Rep. Jason Chaffetz, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, asking him why he will not investigate Flynn’s communications.

Mook explained his concerns further on Wednesday morning during an interview with CNN. He said that there is now a “real question” about whether members of Trump’s campaign were working with Russian operatives in their attempts to influence the election.

‘We’ve got to understand what these communications were between Donald Trump’s aides on the campaign and Russian intelligence officials. You know, we’ve been saying from the beginning that the Russians were the ones who stole the information from the DNC, put it out to WikiLeaks. There’s a real question now, were members of Donald Trump’s campaign aiding, abetting or encouraging this to take place?’

Mook added that the current situation has “eerie” parallels to Watergate.

‘It is extremely strange to me that a member of any American presidential campaign would be speaking to Russian intelligence officials. And it’s particularly bizarre given the fact that we know that Russian intelligence officials broke into the DNC, stole documents, and handed them to WikiLeaks for the purpose of hurting Hillary Clinton and helping Donald Trump. The parallels to Watergate here are eerie, I have to say.’
