Grand-nephew of the great John F. Kennedy became visibly shaken Tuesday during an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Kennedy was discussing Donald Trump’s brutal upheaval of ObamaCare, a program that has brought health coverage to more than 20 million previously uninsured Americans.
According to Politifact, ObamaCare has saved an estimated 50,000 lives because of policies like coverage for those with pre-existing conditions, like Cancer. This hit home for Kennedy, who has an intern who has beat cancer twice thank to the program.
Even Obama himself said:
“The work that we’ve been able to do is already spurring the kinds of changes that we had hoped for. It’s helped reduce hospital readmission rates dramatically. It’s a major reason why we’ve seen 50,000 fewer preventable patient deaths in hospitals.”
Kennedy spoke of his intern with great concern, even becoming tearful at one point while speaking about the 25-year old woman he knows personally. Kennedy, being a true politician for the people, demands that politicians ensure Americans have access to the best doctors, regardless of their social statures.

Kennedy understands the ramifications of Trump’s actions, even if the president of the United States doesn’t. America needs another Kennedy in office.
Joe Kennedy 2020!
