House Intel Chair Releases Conflicting Information – Who Is Telling The Truth? (VIDEO)

On Sunday, during an exclusive interview with Fox News Sunday, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes of California says that there is no evidence of collusion between the Russian government and Trump’s campaign.

Republican Rep. Devin Nunes sat down with with Fox News Sunday and was asked directly if he’s seen evidence of collusion between Russia and Trump’s campaign that relates to the 2016 presidential election.

Nunes said:

‘I’ll give you a very simple answer, no. Up to speed on everything I have up to this morning, No evidence of collusion.’

That does not necessarily mean that there is no connection, it just means that according to this Republican intelligence official, they don’t have any evidence so far.

When pressed if he thinks that there are people inside the United States intelligence community that are leaking information to the press to hinder Trump’s administration, to which he replied:

‘It’s pretty clear that’s happening. There’s even been stories written about it in numerous newspapers talking about how they said they left breadcrumbs around to hurt the Trump administration.’

He did clarify that he doesn’t believe anyone leaking said information still works for the intelligence community, but that the info was linked after they left. Unless he has proof of that, unfortunately, it’s just his opinion.

During the same interview Rep. Nunes also said that there is zero evidence of Trump Tower being “wire tapped.”

‘Was there a physical wiretap of Trump Tower? No, there never was.’

President Trump claimed that that President Obama wiretapped him during the 2016 U.S. presidential election, but according to Nunes, Trump wasn’t speaking literally. (Sound familiar? White House press secretary Sean Spicer and Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway have also defended Donald Trump’s words, insisting he didn’t mean what he said.)

Nunes said:

‘If you take the president literally, it didn’t happen.’

On Thursday, according to CNBC, top senators also said that there is no evidence to support Donald Trump’s claims that he was wiretapped during the 2016 election by Obama or the Obama administration.
