Sarah Palin ended up making it to the White House after all, even thought the 2008 presidential campaign that she was a part of ended in failure (and thank god that it did).
The former Alaska Governor and conservative thought icon visited the Trump White House this past Wednesday evening, documenting the evening on social media.
Early this Thursday morning on Twitter, she wrote: “A great night at the White House. Thank you to President Trump for the invite!”

Palin is bad enough by herself. To many, she represents the quintessential politically self centered, gun toting, Bible thumping Christian conservative — and she’s proud of that image (because of course she is).
Palin isn’t the only one who showed up to the White House late on Wednesday, however. As photos from the evening document, she was accompanied in her presidential visit by the musicians Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. (Putting those two together makes up pretty much the entirety of the Trump-supporting music industry.)
As you can see in the images featured below, the group evidently thought it worth their while to pose mockingly in front of a portrait of former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (because of course they did).

Kid Rock is known for such stunts as selling a t-shirt that identifies the areas of the country that Hillary Clinton won last November as “dumbf*ckistan.” He’s long tried to use being politically enigmatic as an inroad to seem “edgy,” jumping around from fringe cause to fringe cause on the right like he’s Donald Trump and the different political causes that he’s been involved with are wives.
Of course, putting it like that makes it less surprising that Trump hosted Kid Rock at the White House. The president, himself being nothing more than a professional showman, always loves a good fellow showman.
As for Ted Nugent, he’s pretty much of the Sarah Palin mold, trumpeting his love of guns, for instance, like he’s a drug addict and the firearms are crack cocaine. Nugent has served on the board of the National Rifle Association.
And these are the people who President Trump chooses to surround himself with? Seriously?
Are we heading straight for doom or what?
