On Wednesday night, President Trump had dinner at the White House with a few of the country’s most unsavory conservatives: Sarah Palin, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent.
The motley crew apparently had much to discuss yesterday evening, including, according to Nugent, the negative effects of political correctness.
Nugent described his experience meeting Trump in a blog post published Thursday by Deer & Deer Hunting, saying that he had a “lovely evening.”
In his post, Nugent first praised Trump for his awareness of the “misguided, anti-science and anti-hunting laws and regulations perpetrated by power abusing bureaucrats infesting our states and nation.”
He then went on to explain, in his own colorful way, the discussion he had with the president about “status quo political correctness.”
‘We discussed various quality of life issues and how entrenched status quo political correctness has wrecked everything it has touched and how his administration is focused and dedicated to get back to the US Constitutional basics of government of, by and for the people.
‘President Trump summed it up when he humbly and proudly stated that he works for “we the people” and he will not let us down.’
Nugent went on to express his support for Trump’s “America first” policies and said that, “for the first time in many years” he has a “renewed level of positive excitement about the improved direction our country is now headed.”
Nugent shared a photo of himself with President Trump on Facebook late Wednesday night, accompanied by a caption so garbled that it would make Sarah Palin proud:
‘So today is the 242nd anniversary of The Shot Heard Round The World is it! Well well well looky looky here boogie chillin’, I got your Shot Heard Round The World right here in big ol greazyass Washington DC where your 1 & only MotorCity Madman WhackMaster StrapAssasin1 dined with President Donald J Trump at the WhiteHouse to Make America Great Again! Got that? Glowing all American over the top WE THE PEOPLE gory details coming ASAP!! BRACE!’
Nugent, Palin, and Kid Rock: Trump is going to be hard pressed to top that insane trio the next time he invites celebrities to the White House.
