High Alert is the message China gave its air force land-attack, cruise-missile-capable bombers, after Donald Trump ratcheted up the saber-rattling with North Korea. His Friday morning tweet did little to alleviate the near-breaking tension Trump’s tough-guy attitude stirred.
The US thinks Pyongyang has planned a nuclear test, and has an airplane capable of detecting one in the air right now. Although, Beijing urged North Korea to avoid a test, Trump’s words have resulted in a dare to Kim Jong-un. Then, the 100-day president outsourced the problem to China.
‘China is very much the economic lifeline to North Korea so, while nothing is easy, if they want to solve the North Korean problem, they will.’

Granted, China is an economic lifeline to a country that feeds its military as the rest of the country starves, but things have become extremely dangerous.
Beijing understands exactly how unstable North Korea would become if Kim Jong-un’s administration fell. Not only would a mass of refugees pour into the bigger country, China does not want the little country to reunify with South Korea, allied with the US.
