President Trump freaked out on the media this Friday morning on Twitter, screaming about how they “will kill” him once the 100 day mark of his presidency has officially rolled around.
The problem is that the 100 day mark is normally a time for the nation to reflect on the status of its new leadership, and Trump just hasn’t done that much to reflect upon, let alone to think positively of.
Trump, however, evidently thinks that he has done something worthwhile during the first weeks of his administration.
He wrote on Twitter: “No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!”

Of course, besides Trump’s unnatural paranoia about the media, there is, again, the fact that Trump simply hasn’t done much worthwhile during his first 100 days, which officially conclude on April 29.
Sure, as Trump mentioned, he has successfully gotten someone on the Supreme Court, but that was as much the doing of Senate Republicans as it was his doing. Senate Republicans literally changed Senate rules just so that Trump could get his Supreme Court nominee confirmed.
And as for the rest of Trump’s first 100 days? Well it’s just been one big failure after another. Trump tried to get a healthcare bill passed, but he failed at that. Trump tried to get a Muslim targeting travel ban enacted, but he failed at that. Numerous roles across the government remain empty.
And Trump is really taken aback that there isn’t exactly a significant level of public satisfaction with his job performance for these first 100 days of his administration.
