If you’ve ever had a negative gut feeling about someone you can certainly relate to going out of your way to keep a healthy distance from that person. The thought of what you’ll do/say when around that dreaded soul, can often be so unsettling that your ability to remain tactful, diplomatic, and/or discreet in your discomfort or dislike of the person, goes out of the window. Donald Trump gives a lot of people that negative gut feeling.
Expletive laced hashtags, as well as others flat-out expressing hatred of Trump, flood social media each day:

A report has surfaced that shows that former F.B.I. Director, James Comey, may have had some icky feelings about Donald Trump. Feelings so unsettling that he went out of his way to avoid contact with Trump.
At surface level, Comey’s avoidance of Trump may not seem like a huge deal, but when reminded of Comey’s giant 6’8″ stature, the thought of him hiding anywhere, is quite funny. However, Comey did hide and he wanted to be away from Trump so badly in one instance that Comey hid the curtains, according to The New York Times.
Benjamin Wittes, an associate of James Comey’s, told The Times that despite Comey’s intentional efforts around establishing and maintaining good professional boundaries with Trump, Trump’s repeated invitations for Comey to attend various events got to be so many that Comey reluctantly felt he needed to oblige on one occasion. After all, the event was a thank you for law enforcement personnel who worked security for inauguration.
The reception took place in the White House’s Blue Room and Wittes asserts that Comey told him that even at 6’8,” blue suit-wearing Comey tried to blend in with the curtains in the back of the room to avoid being seen, possibly even singled out by Donald Trump. According to Wittes:
‘He thought he had gotten through and not been noticed or singled out and that he was going to get away without an individual interaction.’
Comey must not have paid attention during childhood games of hide and go seek, because he was quickly spotted by Trump and the scene Comey was trying to avoid, was made. Trump flippantly remarked:
‘Oh and there’s Jim. He’s become more famous than me.’
Caught, Comey walked over to Trump and extended his hand for a shake when he also received the dreaded pull-in for a hug. However, staying true to who he was, Comey didn’t hug back, nor did he engage in small talk with Trump.
That awkward moment when Donald Trump hugged James Comey and Comey let Trump know he was having no parts of Trump’s too lax behavior, was captured on camera and may be viewed below:
