In his third tweet of the day, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to spew another load of crap that, quite frankly, really doesn’t make much sense at all.
‘I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director! Witch Hunt’

Has he totally forgotten who it is that’s conducting the investigation into his campaign’s ties to Russia?
Judging by his latest tweet, that seems likely
According to White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, “President Trump acted based on the clear recommendation of both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions” when he decided to fire now former FBI Director James Comey.
The problem, however, is that Trump’s tweet, as well as Spicer’s claim, are both blatant lies. On May 11, Trump told NBC News’ Lester Holt that he acted alone in his decision to fire Comey, as his frustration regarding the department’s investigation into his ties to Russia reached a fever pitch.
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) told POLITICO:
‘It was very clear that [Rosenstein] learned before he wrote the memo that Comey was going to be removed. Somebody made a decision to remove Comey before he wrote the memo.’
Trump is now being investigated for possible obstruction of justice in his firing of Comey, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.
Comey told Congress last week he believes he was fired in an attempt to undermine the FBI’s investigation into Russia probe. Although he wouldn’t say in his testimony whether or not he thought the president’s intention was to obstruct justice, he did add that it would be up to special counsel Mueller “to sort that out.”
