America is in a frenzy, as it came to light that Donald Trump Jr. enthusiastically agreed to a meeting between himself, Paul Manafort, Jared Kushner, and a Russian Lawyer, who has known ties to Russian government officials. That is just the start of the drama surrounding this specific incident.
After denying that the meeting was set up in order to obtain damaging dirt against Hilary Clinton, Donald Jr. came clean, admitting that was his purpose in the meeting. To take that even further, Donald Jr. publicly released emails between himself and Rob Goldstone, which implicated himself and his father even farther. The emails demonstrate that by coming to the meeting, he would be granted access to “very high level and sensitive information” that would incriminate the Democratic nominee, Hilary Clinton. The email also claimed that the information was showing “Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”
Speculations have been swirling since these emails were released. Many want to know if President Trump or Vice President Mike Pence were aware of this meeting, or if they personally had any part in it. Of course, the president has denied knowing that this meeting was taking place, and Don Jr. denies that any useful or damning information came from the meeting, not that anyone believes either of the Donalds. What about the vice president?
Pence has been attempting to put distance between himself and the newest scandal in a never ending stream of Russia-related controversy. A statement from Pence’s press secretary was released, noting that the meeting took place previous to him becoming Trump’s running mate in July. Marc Lotter, the vice president’s press secretary said in the statement:
‘The vice president is working every day to advance the president’s agenda. He was not aware of the meeting. He is also not focused on stories about the campaign — especially those pertaining to the time before he joined the campaign.’
Of course this information found its way on Twitter, where many users of the social media site reacted with strong opinions. Absolutely no one believes that Pence was as oblivious as he would like to appear.
Just what does Pence do all day? He certainly doesn't KNOW anything about anything.

Wow. He's totally setting himself up for the job once Trump is pushed out. Absolving himself and readying to be new POTUS. Wild!

I don't find the lying by @VP Mike Pence to be very credible. He ran the transition, was brought on board by Manafort. Pence knew.

LOL Ol' Pency really thinks he's gonna escape this unscathed

"VP Pence has never met Donald Trump, nor his alleged son, Donald Trump, Jr. The VP is also unaware of this so-called country, Russia."
