The Senate just blocked the Obamacare repeal plan and replaced it with a plan that severely limits the capabilities of Republicans to effectively murder millions of Americans who would be left without coverage under Trump Care.
According to Fox News:
“Senators voted 57-43 late Tuesday to reject the plan in the first vote on an amendment to the bill. Those voting “no” included nine defecting Republicans. The amendment vote portends a rough road ahead for GOP efforts to advance some form of ObamaCare replacement, even after the Senate narrowly revived the core bill in a dramatic test vote Tuesday afternoon.”
Mitch McConnell’s attempts at convincing Americans stripping away Medicare was a good thing apparently fell of deaf ears as the votes fell short of what the GOP needed to continue.
The vote took place after war hero John McCain left the hospital to speak before the Senate on Tuesday, expressing his concern for what atrocities may happen if Americans got to keep their health care coverage. Thankfully, no one listened to him either.
Last night, during a rally in Ohio, Trump threatened any Republican who didn’t go along with his doomed ACA repeal:
“Any senator who votes against repeal and replace… they’ll have a lot of problems.”
How is he still allowed to continue bullying members of government?
