Melania Posts Phony Tweet About Hurricane Harvey That Sends Twitter Into An Uproar

First Lady Melania Trump followed in her husband’s footsteps Monday afternoon, when she took to Twitter to inform followers of her plans for the following day.

Just like her husband, the first lady seems to be all talk and little action, too.

Melania wrote on Twitter:

‘I will travel with @POTUS tomorrow to lend my support to the people of #Texas. We are with you!’

That of course was it — Mrs. Trump didn’t bother to communicate specific intentions of what she and the president would be doing to aid victims of Hurricane Harvey. Similarly to her husband, the first lady has managed to completely isolate the public in regards to what exactly is going on in the state of Texas, and just what they plan to do to help. Twitter wasn’t about to let her get away with tweeting a vague “we’ve got this” message without actually confirming any concrete plans to address the situation. Twitter users from across the board immediately jumped on Mrs. Trump, with many not bothering to tone down the sarcasm in the slightest.

Some of the best responses to the first lady’s tweet can be read below.
