Fox News Channel is losing employees almost as quickly the Trump administration. In the last year, Fox has said goodbye to several prominent news personalities, including former anchor Bill O’Reilly. Now, the network has announced that host and contributor Eric Bolling has also been fired in response to allegations that he harassed several of his colleagues.
In a statement released on Friday, Fox said:
‘Fox News Channel is canceling “The Specialists,” and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably. We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.’
Last month, the Huffington Post revealed that several women had accused Bolling of texting them unsolicited pictures of his genitals. After news broke about the allegations, Bolling’s attorney, Michael J. Bowe, said:
‘Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications, and will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made.’
