John McCain Makes Grim Cancer Announcement – Americans Heartbroken (VIDEO)

John McCain is facing something that most people wouldn’t wish on their worst enemy, and he is doing it with class and grace. Since it was announced that McCain was battling brain cancer, he has received an outpouring of support from people all over the world. That doesn’t make the whole brain tumor thing any easier, however.

On Sunday’s ‘State Of The Union,’ McCain made yet another announcement regarding his cancer treatment. On that show, McCain said that he was facing a very ‘vicious’ form of cancer:

“The prognosis is pretty good…This is a very vicious form of cancer that I’m facing. All the results so far are excellent. Everything is fine. I have just more energy than ever…I’m just fine.”

This is good news for the senator, but could McCain just be trying to sugarcoat the harsh reality that is chemotherapy? Likely. And that “pretty good” prognosis isn’t sitting well with those who adore one of the few Republicans who stand up to President Trump.

McCain says that chemotherapy has definitely been a “challenge.”

He continued:

“But I’ve faced other challenges and I’m very confident about getting through this one as well. He said he’s very happy with what he’s been able to do and is able to “celebrate a wonderful life. I will be grateful for additional time that I have.”

McCain also sent out a huge thanks to everyone supporting him:

“Every life has to end one way or another. You got to have joy.”

All he really wants is for everyone to remember him for the brave former POW he is:

“Made a lot of mistakes, made a lot of errors, but served his country, and I hope we could add honorably.”
