Ted Cruz’s College Responds To His ‘Porn Tweet’ By Exposing Gross Past Porn Habits

-

Late Monday, the internet was set ablaze with some stunning news — the infamously religious and widely hated Senator Ted Cruz had “liked” a porn video on Twitter.

No member of Cruz’s team has yet addressed the question of exactly who liked the tweet. To be sure, it may have not been Cruz himself, with the possibility remaining that his account was hacked. Cruz’s senior communications adviser posted on Twitter early Tuesday that “[t]he offensive tweet posted on [Ted Cruz’s] account earlier has been removed by staff and reported to Twitter.”

Still, harboring the thought that maybe it was the senator who accidentally “liked” a porn video on Twitter while, perhaps, scrolling through such posts lit the internet’s collective mind on fire — and the failed presidential candidate’s former college roommate eventually joined in on the fun.

Screenwriter and director Craig Mazin was Cruz’s roommate while the two were freshmen at Princeton University, and he’s aired his grievances with Cruz in the past.

Now, on the occasion of the x-rated Twitter controversy surrounding the junior Texas senator, Mazin has again spoken out — and it’s sure to make you laugh if you haven’t already at least cracked a smile at the irony of this “scandal.”

Mazin wrote on Twitter:

‘Now imagine Ted Cruz is doing this four feet below you in the bottom bunk bed. Yes, my misery very much appreciates your company… I never wanted this for any of you. I thought maybe I’d feel better if two or three people knew. Not six billion. That said? I FEEL BETTER.’

Mazin also hilariously noted that “the fact that Ted Cruz jacks off to mediocre porn spam is the most human thing we can say about him,” adding that “this is actually his high point.”

Ironically, not only is Cruz known for his general moral conservatism, but he’s known for a specific instance when, as Texas Solicitor General, he moved to ban the sale of sex toys in his state.

He made waves when, shortly after conceding the Republican presidential primary race to Donald Trump, he refused to endorse him from the stage of the 2016 Republican National Convention. He is known as the most hated man in the Senate.
