Donald Trump’s travel ban has been one of the most controversial aspects of his administration. Since implementing it earlier this year, the president has faced massive protests and legal battles over the ban. On Sunday, Trump announced a new version of the ban ,which included several countries not found on the previous list. Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, and Somalia are all on the list. Trump recently sent out a tweet with a link to the announcement and, as always happens, his hardcore supporters rushed to his defense.
Making America Safe is my number one priority. We will not admit those into our country we cannot safely vet.https://t.co/KJ886okyfC

Despite Mike’s insistence that “100%” of Americans support Trump, Twitter showed that many people do not, in fact, agree with Trump’s agenda. Many were quick to argue that such a ban did little to make America safer and only served to divide us.
