GOP Senate candidate and Alabama Judge Roy Moore has been under heavy allegations of the sexual assault of a 14 year-old girl, which happened in 1979 when he was 32 years old. Moore offered to sit with the girl outside of the courtroom while her mother went in for a custody hearing. The mother, 71 year-old Nancy Wells said:
‘I thought, how nice for him to want to take care of my little girl.’
Apparently, he wanted to do more than “take care” of her. Three other women have also accused Moore of sexual assault. When people should be enraged about these incidents and the high prevalence of so many others like it, they are instead using the Bible to justify Moore’s actions, because after all, Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. Others are chalking it up as “fake news.”
Now, Moore and his wife are coming to his defense with a new theory. They are saying their theory is that the sexual assault allegations are just collusion by the Democratic party. Supposedly, one of Roy Moore’s accusers worked as a sign language interpreter for Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.
Here is a collection of responses:
Moore has to drum up something to get more people on his side, especially at a time when Senate Republicans are fleeing from their support of him.
