Trump Tweets Phony Show Of Emotion With Highly Embarrassing Pre-Dawn Video

Donald Trump flew to Da Nang, Vietnam on Thursday to deliver a speech at APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Conference) with quite a different message than the one he ranted about during the 2016 presidential campaigns.

In particular, one of his comments stands out.

‘I’ve had the honor of sharing our vision for a free & open Indo-Pacific — a place where sovereign & independent nations, w/diverse cultures & many different dreams, can all prosper side-by-side.

It is particularly odd to hear this president talk about diversity and different cultures. This is the same man who appointed Steve Bannon, a self-described nationalist, as his chief strategist. Bannon was so terrible in his isolationist beliefs that even members of Trump’s own National Diversity Council called for his immediate firing.

Now Trump’s a big fan of promoting diversity?

Nationalism: exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations.’

This is also the same man whose supporters practically hiss the word globalism into every defense of Trump when he is challenged by others in government. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is now a globalist because he has disagreed with Trump on healthcare and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) is a globalist for not supporting Trump’s every uttered word. Globalism is a dirty, dirty word.

Globalism: a national policy of treating the whole world as a proper sphere for political influence.’

Now Trump is interested in the economic and social welfare of countries not named the United States of America? When did that happen?

Twitter was also not impressed with Trump’s rhetoric, and even some of his supporters were angry over Trump’s more globalist stance while on a world stage.
