Singer Drake Threatens To Kick Fan’s Ass After Witnessing Sexual Assault (VIDEO)

-

While on stage, and in the middle of a performance, recording artist Drake stopped everything to call out a male fan that was inappropriately grabbing women in the crowd, even going so far as to threaten the pervert physically.

During an Australian show, Drake, the Canadian hip hop artist, called out sexual assault when he saw it. Considering the current climate in Hollywood and the political arena, where sexual predators are being taken to task for their unforgivable abuse of power, the time to call sexual assault out is now. Men calling other men out is very important, and not just in Hollywood. A hugely successful hip hop artist on stage calling out inappropriate behavior is powerful.

The video was originally posted by a fan and concert goer to her Instagram account.

The fan, who witnessed the altercation up close and personal, said:

‘I got this close to Drake threatening to jump into the crowd to start a fight with a guy groping a woman in the audience. Violence against women, 6 God says no.’

During the video you can see Drake pause his performance of his song “Know Yourself” and immediately shut down a fan he spotted front and center, grabbing women inappropriately. Without hesitation he told the man to stop.

The singer said:

‘Stop that s**t! If you don’t stop touching girls, I’m going to come out there and f**k your a** up!’

The Twitter reaction to the artist’s strong rebuke of sexual harassment has been mixed, as Drake is known for having extremely sexual and sometimes demeaning lyrics about women, but overall, he was praised.

With longtime creeps being called out at every turn, including Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein, James Toback, Kevin Spacey, Louis C.K. and Mark Schwahn, it looks like the beginning of the end of sexual assault being a quiet, shame filled occurrence. Even some men have called out predators that they’ve witnessed and experienced, raising the stigma for victims of sexual assault and refusing to keep quiet about it any longer.

With the recent allegations made against Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused by several women of sexual assault — including a 14 year old girl, you would think his political career would be sunk. You’d also be wrong, as many have refused to pull their support from the Senate hopeful.

Meanwhile, numerous women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault against Donald Trump, real estate mogul, former reality TV personality, and current president of the United States. His ex-wife said he held her down and forcefully raped her. He’s still sitting in the White House. But Hillary’s emails, right?
