On Friday afternoon, Trump tweeted that Time Magazine had called him and that he was told that he would “probably” be named “person of the year.” He boasted:
‘Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named ‘Man (Person) of the Year,’ like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot.
‘I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!’
Most people on Twitter were quick to call him out for his ridiculous comments. Here is a sampling of what was said:

Back in June, The Washington Post reported that Trump had been asked by Time to remove several fake covers, that featured him as the host of The Apprentice, which were in hanging in his golf clubs.
