While Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) and Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) have both resigned from their elected positions in Congress, and Kevin Spacey and Louis C.K. have both been fired from their acting jobs, and Harvey Weinstein had awards stripped and was ousted from the production company that bore his name, Donald Trump still sits in the White House promoting an alleged pedophile to the Senate.
A new accuser, Trump’s 17th to date, came forward on Friday to tell reporters for Page Six that Trump once tried to kiss her without her consent in an elevator at Trump Tower in either 2005 or 2006. Juliet Huddy recounted the incident in an interview.
‘He took me for lunch at Trump Tower, just us two. He said goodbye to me in an elevator while his security guy was there, rather than kiss me on the cheek he leaned in to kiss me on the lips. I wasn’t offended, I was kind of like, “Oh my god.”‘
The incident occurred when Trump met with Huddy to discuss potentially having her work on Trump’s NBC reality show The Apprentice. The two had lunch at Trump Tower and when they entered an elevator, he attempted to kiss her.
Later, Trump appeared on Fox News when Huddy worked as a weekend anchor for Fox & Friends and recognized the woman he once tried to assault.
‘Trump was a guest and he came on stage, He said, to the audience and producers, not on camera, “I tried hitting on her but she blew me off.” He was laughing. At the time I was not offended by it, I thought he was a single man and leaned in for a kiss… maybe he thought, “She’s been out to lunch with me and maybe she is interested.”
‘Now I have matured I think I would say, “Woah, no,” but at the time I was younger and I was a little shocked. I thought maybe he didn’t mean to do it, but I was kind of making excuses. The elevator incident and the lunch was 2005 or 2006.’
Trump married his current wife, Melania, on January 22, 2005. Huddy believed he was single, but in the time span she has identified, he was only single for 22 days.
Huddy also spoke out previously against Bill O’Reilly, on behalf of whom Fox News paid $32 million to his victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment over the years. One of those victims was Juliet Huddy.
While Huddy says she was not offended by Trump at the time, his actions are certainly not excusable and the her story lends credence to the 16 other women who have told similar stories of Trump’s sexual assaults. As a candidate, it was revealed that Trump even admitted to these types of assaults, although he later dismissed his words as “locker room talk.”
‘You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything…grab ’em by the p*ssy. You can do anything.’
From all accounts, Trump is a sexual predator with no respect for the women who make up a majority of the people he’s been elected to represent. To date, he has never faced any consequences for his actions.
