Trump Plan Leaked To Devastate America With Emergency Procedure During Christmas

The Republicans are desperate to save themselves politically, since, even though they are throwing out their tax cuts that favor richer people as an attempt to stabilize their political futures, their very leader — Donald Trump — remains under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller for possible cooperation with Russia.

The most recent development in Mueller’s investigation was a guilty plea from former presidential national security adviser Michael Flynn and an announcement that he would be fully cooperating with Mueller’s investigation.

In recent days, since the release of anti-Trump texts sent by a former member of Mueller’s team, Republicans have intensified their push to discredit Mueller’s investigation.

Now, in light of all of this, California Democratic U.S. Representative Jackie Speier has a bad feeling about what’s going to be going down in Washington, D.C., over the next weeks.

Speier sits on the House Intelligence Committee, as does the prominent Democratic U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, and she says that there is reason to be concerned about what future Republicans intend for the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia probe to have.

She told a reporter with California’s KQED News:

‘We can read between the lines, I think, and there is a rush to try and shut this committee investigation down. This week was a great example. [There were] three interviews going on simultaneously, one of them actually off the Hill, with someone who comes to Washington frequently, but they wanted to do it now, and so we were actually off the Hill doing the interview, had to race back to vote. This is a circus at this point.’

Rep. Schiff has expressed similar concerns, posting a chain of tweets this past Friday to that effect.

The House Intelligence Committee’s probe of Russian interference in the election and possible Trump campaign cooperation with Russia in their meddling efforts has, notably, been compromised in the past.

Committee Chairman and GOP U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes made the controversial decision earlier this year to consult with the White House before consulting with his own committee, earning him intense pressure — which he eventually succumbed to — to withdraw from the investigation.

Republicans, led by the president, want to seemingly continuously claim that there is no legitimacy to Mueller’s investigation, but with now four members of the Trump team having faced charges, there’s essentially no grounding in reality for their assertions.

Her disturbing insight into Republicans’ plans for the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation wasn’t all that Speier had to share while speaking with KQED.

She also revealed that there are rumors inside D.C. of Trump planning to soon fire Special Counsel Mueller. Although such might technically be within his power, that doesn’t mean that he actually should do so. Trump would be sending a torpedo into the nation’s justice system.

In her interview published on Friday, Rep. Speier put it as follows:

‘I believe that the president wants all of this shut down… The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week. And on Dec. 22nd, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire Robert Mueller.’
