Trump Claimed He’s ‘Going Back To Work’; Images Leaked Prove He Lied

No doubt everyone should get a break for Christmas. Even if they don’t celebrate it, they should get a break because many working-class Americans have to work hard to pay the bills, put food on the table, and pay a heavy load of taxes now that the Trump tax plan has been passed in Congress.

Even the president of the United States should get one day to observe the holiday. Yes, that applies to Trump even if we could argue that he’s not a hard-working president. Even though Republicans are hardly fair, fair is fair.

However, many don’t get a break. Not to mention, they don’t get a break on Christmas Eve or the day after Christmas. It’s back to work for them.

With the responsibilities of being the president of the United States, you’d honestly expect the same from Trump. However, it’s Trump in the Upside Down parallel version of America.

Granted, he tweeted out the best of intentions saying he was getting back to work the day after Christmas. He tweeted:

‘I hope everyone is having a great Christmas, then tomorrow it’s back to work in order to Make America Great Again (which is happening faster than anyone anticipated)!’

If you actually expected that to happen, however, you really should have your head examined because, rather than getting back to work, Trump hit up the Trump International Golf Club Tuesday.

ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND – JUNE 25: Presumptive Republican nominee for US president Donald Trump visits Trump International Golf Links on June 25, 2016 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Remember, Trump promised he would have no time for golfing because he would be too busy working to make America great again for the people. Specifically, he said:

‘I love golfing … But you know what, and I love golf, but if I were in the White House, I don’t think I’d ever see Turnberry again … I just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off and make great deals. Right?’

According to NBC News, Trump has traveled to his own properties 111 times. Out of those 111 trips, he’s golfed 85 times – more than half of the visits. It’s so apparent that he would rather golf than work that his own administration tries to hide it and won’t confirm trips to the golf course.

So much for never leaving the White House, right?

The most hypocritical aspect of it all is the fact Trump was a constant critic of Obama’s trips to the golf course. He tweeted back in 2014:

‘Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf.Worse than Carter’

On the campaign trail, Trump tweeted:

‘President Obama should have gone to Louisiana days ago, instead of golfing. Too late, too late!’

Again in 2014, he tweeted:

‘We pay for Obama’s travel so he can fundraise millions so Democrats can run on lies. Then we pay for his golf.’

With NBC estimating Trump regularly travels on the weekends to his properties, the American people are regularly paying for him to visit his properties and golf courses. The bill would include enhanced security from local law enforcement, Secret Service, travel by plane, and god knows what else.

With that in mind, The Wall Street Journal reported just how much that has cost the American people and compared it to the travel expenses of the Obamas.

‘… Travel by Mr. Obama and his family cost $96.9 million – or an average of $1 million a month … His [Trump] air travel costs to Mar-a-Lago averaged about $1.5 million a month.’

While Trump gets “back to work” golfing, the American people are working hard to pay for those trips and rounds of golf. Needless to say, Trump needs to get a case of the hush mouth when it comes to talking about getting back to work, as that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
