Trump is quickly regretting calling African nations ‘shitholes’ Thursday during an Oval Office meeting that will surely go down in infamy. The president was referring to Haitian refugees when making the remark that shocked onlookers whom immediately took to the press upon leaving the White House.
Trump said:
“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”
Trump continued:
“Why do we need more Haitians? Take them out.”

Now, beloved Republican Senator John McCain has lent his opinion to the public, and as per the usual, he did not disappoint. McCain had this to say about Donald’s racist anti-Africa tirade:
“Respect for the God-given dignity of every human being, no matter their race, ethnicity or other circumstances of their birth, is the essence of American patriotism.”
“To believe otherwise is to oppose the very idea of America. People have come to this country from everywhere, and people from everywhere have made America great. Our immigration policy should reflect that truth, and our elected officials, including our President, should respect it.”
According to McCain (and most literate people) immigrants “from everywhere have made America great,” and are therefore owed Donald Trump’s respect.
This is one time that Senator McCain has hit the nail on the head.

This is also the most in depth statement to be released by a member of the Republican party, with kiss-asses like Paul Ryan saying that Trump’s racist rant was “unfortunate” and “unhelpful.”
