If you own a television in America today, there’s no way you’ve missed the barrage of ads hawking every commercial product your mom could possibly hope for as a gift on Mother’s Day. One political action committee, however, has created an ad your anti-Trump mom is sure to appreciate.
The ad, from by NextGen America and funded by Tom Steyer, has a public service announcement feel and features a mother explaining her horror at having missed the early warnings signs from her son’s demise. First, she explains, she missed signs that her son was stealing. More alarming was who her son was stealing from: the poor.

She bemoans her son’s inability to meet girls, although he never seemed to have a problem talking to them, while he stood outside abortion clinics holding “Baby Killer” signs. She should have seen it coming when her son brought his dirty laundry home from college for his mother to wash and she found a “Make America Great Again” t-shirt in the pile.

It wasn’t until her son and his friends from the Charlottesville rally came to visit that she realized “it might have been too late.”
As a warning to all mothers, the ad finishes with a bang as the mom throws back a martini in anguish and says:
‘Only a mother can catch the signs early. This Mother’s Day, talk to your child about the GOP. I wish I had.’
