Like the majority of the people in the U.S., Robert De Niro simply can’t stand Donald Trump. He can clearly see that Trump is bringing this country to its knees. Robert De Niro is a huge public figure and one of the finest actors in our nation’s history, so when he comes out and voices his opinion about something, people tend to get excited about it. Take his speech from the Tony Awards tonight for instance. De Niro walked out on stage and the first words out of his mouth were
‘I’m going to say one thing…F**k Trump. It’s no longer down with Trump, it’s F**k Trump!’
He received a standing ovation from the raucous crowd. It seems like the masses find joy when someone famous stands up for our country. Of course the network bleeped out the profanity, but attendees confirmed that he did in fact say f**k in his speech.
People on the right will almost certainly call for De Niro films to be boycotted, but it won’t do any good. He’s too popular and what he said is a sentiment widely shared. De Niro bravely stood on the stage and said what the majority of us are thinking. It’s too bad there aren’t any Republicans in our government who are willing to stand up and fight for our country the way De Niro does.

If you want to see something funny, keep an eye on Twitter and watch for Trump’s whining to start about the double standard in Hollywood. He’ll probably complain that Roseanne got fired from her job because of a joke, but how nothing will happen to De Niro because of the liberal media.
He’ll most likely try to say that what De Niro said was much worse than what Roseanne said, but in reality nothing is as bad as racism. So don’t fall for his line of B.S. He’ll just be trying to save face after someone important gave him a very public, great big F.U.
