Donald Trump must have been raised in a barn. What guy does not understand that you let the lady, in this case Queen Elizabeth, go first? She put up with him, but the rest of the royal family had a different idea.

As the Queen and POTUS took the inspection of the Coldstream Guards at Windsor Castle walk, he headed on out ahead her. Not only that, he keep the 92-year-old monarch waiting in the sun for 10 hot minutes.

The first and second in line, Prince Charles and Prince William, refused to meet with the American president. It was a good idea.

After all, 45 insulted Great Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May, too. These two powerful women  gave the world a close up view of the Brits’ stiff upper lip and good manners as they overlooked Trump’s boorish behavior and carried on.

However, the male heirs made it clear that they wanted no part of Trump’s visit. A British source to London’s newspaper, The Sunday Times said that they “simply refused to attend:”

‘This business of Prince Charles and Prince William not being there for the Trump visit was a snub. They simply refused to attend. It’s a very, very unusual thing for the queen to be there on her own. Usually she is accompanied by somebody. Prince Charles has been substituting for Philip a lot recently.’

The Queen’s husband Prince Philip, who is 97 now, no longer participates in royal duties including the president’s visit and:

‘(He) goes to what he wants to go to. If he had wanted to be there he could have been.’

The president of these United States and the first lady had tea with the queen. Clearly, the Brits were seriously offended at Trump’s apparent lack of respect for their Queen Elizabeth.

Prince Charles decided to go to a board meeting for his business and a Gloucestershire police event instead of hanging out with the Donald. Prince Harry found other “private engagements” to attend.

The United Kingdom did not consider this a state visit, and gave Trump only the barest formal nod. The angry baby Trump balloon followed the president from London to Scotland surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people protesting his visit.
