Giuliani Goes On ‘NBC Sunday’ & Humiliates Trump In 8 Incriminating Seconds

With a long list of incredibly outlandish statements like Kellyanne Conway’s “alternative facts” quote, the Trump administration may go down in history as the worst spin doctors ever. Rudy Giuliani did little to help with that during a Sunday morning appearance on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd.

As he so consistently does, Giuliani made Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign look even worse than they already do in their response to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the campaign’s alleged collusion with Kremlin-linked government operatives. Giuliani harped on a consistent theme that Mueller is taking too long to wrap up the investigation, which is laughable in the fact of the months and years that Benghazi and Clinton’s use of private email server dragged on through multiple investigations, and Todd eventually called the Trump legal spokesman on his complaints.

Todd: Can’t you speed up Mueller’s report and can’t you have more credibility about getting Mueller’s report if you get the president to sit down with him?

Giuliani: Get the word credibility out of it. We have plenty of credibility,” Giuliani snapped. “It is a week and a half later and they have not responded to our letter. Now, don’t tell me that we’re delaying this if they are spending a week and a half getting back to us.

Todd: You believe this is on them? That you guys have not delayed the interviewing, delayed the negotiations?

Giuliani: Yes. What I have to tell you is, look, I am not going to be rushed into having him testify so he gets trapped into perjury. When you tell me that, you know, he should testify because he is going to tell the truth and he shouldn’t worry, that’s silly because it’s somebody’s version of the truth. Not the truth.

Todd finally broke into the former mayor’s delusional rant to remind him that there is only one true version of what happened, saying, “the truth is the truth.”

Giuliani followed that up with what will become the new “alternative facts” absurdity of the Trump camp.

‘No, it isn’t. Truth isn’t truth.’

Todd shook his head and told Giuliani “this is going to be a bad meme,” to which he replied, “don’t do this to me!”
