Donald Trump has been slashing through the U.S. government’s science community. In the interest of pleasing his base, he has removed the words “climate change” from all the research documents, which is tragic given that the agriculture industry depends so heavily upon the weather and the climate from year to year to name just one group. POTUS gave the environmental scientists one month to decide whether they will move in a wholesale move to Kansas City, Missouri in an attempt to decimate the department and all of its research — no exceptions. Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign manager Brad Parscale bragged in a tweet that they had sold over “140,000” straws in a flagrant attack of the damage plastic straws do to animal life and pollution, which was far from funny:
‘We have sold more than 140,000 straws. That is over $200,000 raised. More than half of all Straw purchasers were BRAND NEW small dollar donors. Amazing!’
Late night show host and comedian Stephen Colbert summed it up beautifully:
‘You can now buy Trump 2020-branded straws for $15 a pack, which is a great way to let people know you suck.’
