On Thursday — Thanksgiving — Trump went golfing. While at his course, Trump repeatedly cursed after he hit his golf ball into a body of water on the premises. TMZ obtained video footage capturing the moment, in which Trump proclaims: “Ah shit. I hate this fucking hole.” After Trump’s irritated remarks, someone — it’s unclear who — can be heard laughing on the footage. Trump has spent a staggering amount of time on the golf course while in office as president. According to an NBC News tracker, Trump has visited one of his golf courses on at least 281 days of his presidency. At least 85 of those days have featured a stop by Trump’s golf course in Virginia, where he visited on Thursday.

Trump went a long time following Election Day without speaking to reporters, but on Thursday, he engaged with the White House press corps — and it didn’t exactly go great. Trump admitted to a reporter that he would leave the White House if a majority of the electoral college votes for Joe Biden — which is exactly what they’re on track to do — and he lied, claiming that “it’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud.” There is no meaningful evidence of any kind of massive fraud. Trump’s claims consistently hinge on conjecture, ignorance, and sheer nonsense. When the reporter followed up with Trump, he ranted as follows: “Don’t talk to me that way. I’m the President of the United States. Don’t ever talk to the president that way.” Reporters’ jobs, of course, are to hold the president to a strict spotlight, which Trump apparently refuses to accept.

On Thursday, Trump kept up the pace of his tweeting about his concerns. He posted, for instance, the following nonsenical, lie-riddled morning message:

‘Just saw the vote tabulations. There is NO WAY Biden got 80,000,000 votes!!! This was a 100% RIGGED ELECTION.’

In a follow-up post, he derided athletes who took a knee before a Thursday football game as an act of peaceful protest.

No matter what Trump says, his team has come nowhere near close to overturning enough of the election results to come remotely close to handing Trump a win. His team has failed in court, over and over again.
