Undeniable Proof The Falsified Videos Led To Planned Parenthood Shooting

For months upon months conservative pundits and politicians alike have been using an edited video featuring Planned Parenthood’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola. The video was put out by the make-believe “Center For American Progress” to perpetuate anti-choice lies.

The number one lie that has been pushed has been that Planned Parenthood harvests and sells “baby body parts.” When, truth be told, the community health center accepts fetal tissue donations and offers them up for scientific research. Research that is currently being done to find cures for Alzheimers, ALS and more.

However, that lie has been told thousands of times, and told to a conservative audience that already hates the fact that women have control over their own medical decisions and are legally allowed to get an abortion. Unfortunately, when a lie is repeated often enough, it becomes the truth to many people. However, when certain people on the conservative right, who also happen to be very militant with an abundance of guns, it can create a very violent scenario: people who feel they are doing the right thing when they take violent action against Planned Parenthood and are thus justified in their course of action.

With the recent shooting at a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs, Colorado, many were left wondering if the man who did the shootings, Robert Lewis Dear, may have been motivated by what he saw on the edited videos.

Well, now there is no question about it. According to Washington Post:

“The gunman suspected of storming a Planned Parenthood clinic and killing a police officer and two others told the officers who arrested him “no more baby parts,’’ after being taken into custody, according to a law enforcement official.”

That same official also said that, without a doubt, the attack was “definitely politically motivated,” with Dear even mentioning President Obama in one of his many statements to investigators.

Dear, who is clearly unstable, was obviously misled by the falsified videos, and those who put together those videos better be thinking long and hard about the violence they just incited. No matter how you feel on the subject of abortion, going to a place where you think they may be happening and murdering people is not the solution to your disagreement of opinions. However, that sort of thinking is of a sane mind, and Dear is clearly insane.

The Center For Medical Progress did not pull the trigger on those people who perished on Friday, but they most certainly have blood on their hands, alongside every conservative media outlet and politician who perpetuated the lies for political gain.

And it just so happens that those people who perpetuated those lies are also the same people who want to make guns as accessible as possible. So not only are they inciting the violence, they are also making the weapons to kill readily available. According to NBC:

“Sources said there would have been nothing apparent in Dear’s background — including a felony conviction or previous mental health issue — that would have disqualified him from buying an AK-47 style, high-powered rifle used in the shootings.”

However, Dear did have previous arrests, including for domestic violence, and he was still able to obtain a gun. Let’s also not look past the point that NO ONE, outside those in the military in a combat zone, needs nor should have an AK-47. Sorry, wannabe Rambos, that’s a fact. The Second Amendment was written to arm and train our standing militias, not for random Tom, Dick, or Sally’s to buy a gun at the local Walmart because they are paranoid Syrian refugees babies are gonna come knocking at their door.

Conservative politicians and pundits are avoiding the fact that this shooting was politically motivated like the plague, because they know they helped spread the lies that brought Dear to the decision he made.

Shame on them. We need to cease the allowance of these lies being told, write stricter gun laws, and stop politicizing a woman’s legal right to choose.
