The First Republican To Publicly Support The Armed Militants In Oregon Is…

We didn’t have to wait too long for a Republican to throw support behind Y’all Qaeda after its takeover of a refuge near Burns, Oregon. Because whoever hates the government the most, gets Conservative support.

In this case, it’s probably not a good idea to throw support behind this group of individuals. The list of Republican presidential candidates who rallied behind Cliven Bundy during his standoff in Nevada will surely come back to haunt each and everyone of them during the presidential season especially after this latest bizarre takeover.

Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Holt (R-Dresden) will now forever be remembered as that guy.  He’s the first – at least as far as we can see – who has dared to offer financial support to the occupiers of the refuge.

The former hog farmer sent out a tweet which he has since deleted to offer a contribution to their seditious cause.

“#BundyMilitia Where can I send support for your effort?,” it reads.

Holt went on to blame liberals for deleting his own tweet because we’re evil – or something. What really happened was that he was schooled on Twitter but he’s still not getting it.

This tweet is really special.

This idiot obviously hasn’t read about the case which centers around two arsonists who destroyed land. While Holt rants about property being set ablaze in Ferguson, that’s exactly what the family at the center of the dispute, Dwight Lincoln Hammond, Jr., 73, and his son, Steven Dwight Hammond, 46, did in Oregon.

NPR reports:

Both reportedly were arrested for obstructing federal officials in 1994 — in protest of which “nearly 500 incensed ranchers showed up at a rally in Burns,” according to High Country News. But even before that, the Hammonds bristled at the authority of managers of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

“[Dwight] Hammond allegedly made death threats against previous managers in 1986 and 1988 and against [Forrest] Cameron, the current manager, in 1991 and again this year,” High Country News reported in 1994.

Still yet, the Hammonds do not want the Bundys or militia members there. They plan to comply with the law and return to prison today to serve time for their misdeeds.

He’s being blasted on Twitter at the moment. His own history isn’t too savory as some have pointed out.

We would like to know when Holt is ready to forfeit his ‘socialist’ programs.

Well Holt got his wish because ‘socialist’ schools have been closed down in the area due to the armed takeover. So has the Bureau of Land Management.

It’s odd (not really) how police-supporting Conservatives are disregarding Harney County Sheriff Dave Ward in this matter. Ward does not want the militia members there either. The sheriff has warned people to stay away from the area and to avoid a confrontation with the militia members.

On Sunday afternoon, Ward said the group of militants who seized an eastern Oregon wildlife refuge is trying to overthrow the local and federal governments.

He’s also received threatening emails.

We can add Holt to the list of Conservatives who are gleeful over the prospect of an unarmed black person being shot down by police, while yelling “Blue Lives Matter’ except when the authorities are not on their side because police aren’t happy about a volatile situation that just screams ‘armed insurrection.’
