WATCH: Kentucky Man Shouting ‘Punk A** N****r’ At A Black Judge Immediately Regrets It

A Kentucky man learned quickly that yelling out a racial slur at a Black judge might not be the best idea after all.

In a video posted by WDRB, a man can be heard yelling, “Punk ass ni**ger” after Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Olu Stevens revoked Adam Satterly’s bond on drug charges Monday.

That outburst resulted in 60 days in jail after Stevens found Satterly in contempt of court and directly addressed him for using the racial slur.

Stevens ordered sheriff’s deputies to bring Satterly back into the courtroom a few minutes after the incident occurred, and asked, “Is there something that you wish to say to me?”

Satterly told the judge he was talking to his brother, not him.

“No, no, no, I didn’t mean it like that,” Satterly said.

“Oh, you didn’t mean it like that?” the judge responded. “You don’t speak those words in here. And that word particularly, you don’t use that word. I’m going to give you 60 days for having used that word. I’m going to hold you in contempt right now for having used it in this courtroom. It’s disrespectful; don’t ever do it again.”

This was Stevens’ first day back after he stopped hearing cases for a few weeks following Kentucky’s chief justice scolding him over his comments alleging that top prosecutor, Tom Wine, wants “all-white” juries.

“This is how the new year starts,” Stevens said in response to hearing Satterly’s racial slur.

We’re not sure if racists feel more emboldened lately due to heated political rhetoric or whether inbreeding has sucked IQ points out of their heads. It’s likely both, though.

While Mr. Satterly sits behind bars for 60 days, he can contemplate the words of Judge Stevens, “It’s disrespectful; don’t ever do it again.”

Satterly obviously needed a timeout anyway. It’s a win-win situation and hopefully he won’t yell racial slurs in prison. It could get uncomfortable.
