David Fry, a 27-year-old Ohio resident who is involved with the armed militants who have occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burn, Oregon, says he was just funnin’ around when he posted ‘#Pray4ISIS’ repeatedly to his Google+ page.
And that’s not all Fry posts on his page.
The Oregonian reports:
Fry, who has also made a website supporting the standoff, said in an interview Tuesday night that he is not a supporter of the Islamic State. He characterized his Google+ page — which also includes the hashtag “#HitlerWasRight” and phrase “obama needs to be hung after being found guilty for TREASON!!” — as him “ranting off” and being facetious and sarcastic at times.
“The media is blowing this up and making me look like a bad guy, but I was just being sarcastic,” he said. “I was being very offensive. That was the goal, to be very offensive.” Well he certainly accomplished that goal.
‘Fry deleted posts with the hashtags “#BombIsrael” and “#Pray4ISIS” on Tuesday night and insists that it’s Obama who supports ISIS, and not him.
On November 6th i posted a quarrel i have had with Obama arming “Moderate rebels” who are defecting to ISIS!
I DO NOT SUPPORT ISIS! OBAMA DOES!
In another post, he writes:
i DELETED MY FACETIOUS JOKES AND OBSCENE COMMENTS!!
SO YOU FREAKS CAN’T SPIN ME OFF AS A ISIS SUPPORTER AND A HITLER ACOLYTE! IS THERE EVEN A DAMN SUCH THING AS A PRO HITLER ISIS SUPPORTER?? WTF!
Fry said he has been at the refuge for about five days, as of Tuesday night, and plans to stay as long as he can, and we hope he and his hashtags stay there.
“I felt like this was a good place to maybe make a change for America,” he said.
Fry’s criminal history includes convictions for possession of drugs and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, and having an insufficient number of life jackets while floating on a river in an inflatable raft, he said.
On YouTube, there are videos of Fry burning papers a collection agency sent requesting payment for unpaid court debt and we’re sure that footage will work out swimmingly with the debt collectors. By the way, collection agencies have a legal department.
Fry created a website while with the armed militants and he’s also been on a computer at the refuge, he said, using a flash drive with the Linux Mint operating system on it.
But he alleges that he doesn’t have access to government data and isn’t using the computer’s operating system. And yet, the Bundy militia is rifling through desks while looking at government documents, and this computer-savvy guy is telling us he’s not taking part in illegal activity while illegally occupying a federal building. Yeah, OK.
Fry’s website has videos posted, one of which features him trying to explain his ‘pray for ISIS’ posts.
