REJECTED: Major Christian Organization Condemns Cruz’s Claim That Christians Won Him The Caucus

What would America look like under a Ted Cruz, R-Texas, president? I suspect it would be similar to an ancient holy war (the Crusades), where Cruz sends his Christian soldiers to the Mideast to take the Holy Land back from the Muslims. But you should know, Cruz plans to start his Christian organization crusade right here at home.

Already, Cruz has claimed that Christians won him the Iowa Caucus, but he is wrong. Michael Sherrard is the spokesperson for Faithful America, which is the biggest online Christian community and growing, and he released an email Wednesday criticizing Cruz. Sherrard’s email said:

‘What does that really mean? Cruz touted the endorsement of hate group leaders and even a fringe anti-semitic pastor who says God sent Hitler to hunt Jews. He held rallies where Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson denounced the “perversion” and “depravity” of gay marriage and said we need to “rid the earth” of those who support marriage equality.’

‘This isn’t Christianity – it’s bigotry wrapped up in the Bible. And the only way to fight is for Christians to stand up and say: That’s not our faith.’

So, why are Christians wary of Cruz? For one thing, his father is a dominionist preacher. What’s that? It is:

‘The tendency of politically active conservative Christians to try to control government. Writer Michelle Goldberg simplifies the definition down to: “a movement … which says Christians should rule the world.”

Apparently, God told Ted to run for president.

‘At that moment, the Holy Spirit descended upon everyone in the room and convinced Ted to run.’

Cruz’s flavor of Christianity believes that God damns 99 percent of us mortals to eternal torture, and Cruz believes that punishment is fair. Either obey or burn. Ouch, that’s pretty rough, if you aren’t part of this one percent.

A Cruz president would select dominionst 4-star generals to run his Christian military, men who think that America is the chosen nation as ordained by God. Remember, Cruz’s war starts here.

Imagine what it would be like to have a radical Christian military patrolling the neighborhoods. Pastor Kevin Swanson endorsed Cruz and joined him on stage at the National Religious Liberties Conference. Swanson believes that homosexuality should be punished by death in the U.S.

Planned Parenthood would fall beneath the Cruz’s Christian sword, along with birth control, and women’s rights:

‘I have been proud to fight and stand for religious liberty, to stand against Planned Parenthood, to defend life for my entire career.’

Prominent dominionst preachers blessed and anointed Cruz “king” of government and politics at a special Christian organization blessing ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Des Moines, Iowa at a July 19th-20th 2013 conference. The rally promoters also intended the rally to draw pastors into politics.

Then he would take his faith-based crusade to the Mideast:

‘Those who hate Israel hate America. Those who hate Jews hate Christians.’

They see their duty as spreading Christianity throughout the world through force. As Cruz says:

‘We will carpet bomb them into oblivion. I don’t know if sand can glow in the dark, but we’re going to find out.’

Ted Cruz has made countless over-the-top statements for years that do not reflect the words of Jesus or Christianity.

‘If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, then I will not stand with you.’

I kind of like the New Testament. That is where they show Christians how to love your neighbor as yourself, and clearly, Cruz does love himself.
