Ted Cruz is well known for blatantly lying, and spewing out bullsh*t whenever he is given the chance. The Ted Cruz campaign called precinct chairs in Iowa before the caucus to announce that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race and all of his voters should vote for Cruz instead.
Cruz takes his lies to a new low by announcing another candidate is suspending his campaign to get ahead on votes. Nancy Bliesman is one of the precinct chairs that got the mendacious voicemails, but did not check them before the caucus. Her precinct was not biased based on Cruz’s false claims, but how man others were?
Trump may be on to something when he threw his tantrum that Cruz is a cheater and a liar. Many precincts in Iowa did however get the voicemails and somewhere in their imbecilic brains, trusted words from Cruz’s own senseless arrogant campaign.
‘[inaudible]…from the Ted Cruz campaign, calling to get to a precinct captain, and it has just been announced that Ben Carson is taking a leave of absence from the campaign trail, so it is very important that you tell any Ben Carson voters that for tonight, uh, that they not waste a vote on Ben Carson, and vote for Ted Cruz. He is taking a leave of absence from his campaign. All right? Thank you. Bye.’
The second one from a Cruz campaign hotline:
‘Hello, this is the Cruz campaign with breaking news: Dr. Ben Carson will be [garbled] suspending campaigning following tonight’s caucuses. Please inform any Carson caucus goers of this news and urge them to caucus for Ted instead. Thank you. Good night.’
Bliesman wishes Cruz’s campaign would have “looked deeper into the rumors before sharing the information.” Cruz has already had to apologize for sharing the false information about Carson dropping out when the emails sent before the caucus were brought up.
Cruz’s campaign claims:
‘The senator has already apologized for not more quickly making that clarification, and there is no evidence that our sharing of this news story impacted Carson’s campaign – he well outperformed expectations. The voicemails are in line with the reports that were made at that time. Our campaign shared an accurate report that Carson was suspending campaigning after the caucuses – he went home and he went to D.C. – and these voicemails do not suggest that he would completely drop out of the race.’
What part of “tell any Ben Carson voters that for tonight, uh, that they not waste a vote on Ben Carson, and vote for Ted Cruz. He is taking a leave of absence from his campaign” does not suggest Carson would drop out of the campaign? Cruz’s campaign feeds supporters bullsh*t so they believe in the land of Cruz everything is happy-go-lucky. Republican voters tend to eat up the lies and misinformation and show more support for the moronic, egotistical candidates that disgust the rest of America.
Have a listen to the voicemails and decide for yourself:
