Bernie Sanders is standing up to an entire group of his followers, the Bernie bros, ensuring yet again that he is the anti-Donald Trump. Unlike The Donald, who incites and directly orders his followers to physically assault hecklers, Sanders is taking a stand against bullying of any kind from his followers.

On Sunday, Bernie gave CNN a message for any of his followers who take part in online bullying, “we don’t want that crap.” Bernie then called the entire “Bernie bro” movement “disgusting.” Bernie also said this:

“anybody who is supporting me that is doing the sexist things — we don’t want them.”

THIS is what a future President looks like. He doesn’t throw temper tantrums if people say things he doesn’t like. He doesn’t have an ego that barely fits through doorways. He is kind and compassionate to the feelings of others, and realizes that online bullying is a very serious problem that can have common people resorting to crude and elementary tactics.

While these Bernie bros can be compared to Donald Trump’s mildest followers, Bernie isn’t standing for any kind of sexism or bullying in his name. Apparently, the Bernie bros are responsible for statements about Hillary followers voting based on “who has the vagina,” and even came up with the clever little term “clitrash.”

Bernie’s rapid response director released this statement to followers via Twitter:

Bernie’s digital media director, Héctor Sigala said this about Bernie bros:

‘We love our supporters and we know we wouldn’t be here without you all, but it does add a layer of complexity when we have to track what you all do during some moments when we are shaping our messaging. Just know you represent our movement and be respectful with those who disagree with you.’
