In this must-see new comedy out now, Johnny Depp plays Donald Trump as the overly-empowered, egotistical, misogynistic idiot that we have been seeing on the 2016 campaign trail. Depp took the role as part of a ‘Funny Or Die” skit that portrayed The Donald before he began his run for the White House.
“The Art Of The Deal- The Movie” was released after Trump’s big win last night in New Hampshire, and it is quickly making its rounds on the interwebs. The TV movie adaptation of Donald’s Book “The Art of the Deal,” has been a project in the works for months now, and after watching this gem, you will know why it took so long to make.
According to New York Times:
‘The humor website Funny or Die on Wednesday began streaming a 50-minute comedy that finds Mr. Depp portraying the businessman turned politician, full-blown comb-over and all. Kept a secret for months — no small task in Hollywood — “Funny or Die Presents Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal: The Movie” was released to coincide with Mr. Trump’s victory on Tuesday in the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary.’
Not only does this movie have a big-time actor portraying the lead character, but other big names that quickly signed on to do the history-making project include: Ron Howard, Alfred Molina, Robert Morse, Patton Oswalt, Jack McBrayer, Henry Winkler, Stephen Merchant, Christopher Lloyd, Kristen Schaal, Andy Richter, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, Tymberlee Hill, Alf, Jordan Coleman, Joe Nuñez, and Jeremy Konner.
This epic tale, narrated by Ron Howard, shows a distraught Trump filming his made-for-TV movie in the 1980’s when he suddenly becomes enraged by a football game going into over-time, and demands the film be locked away into a vault, not to be seen again for 30 years.
This isn’t the first time Funny Or Die took jabs at presidential candidate Donald Trump. A skit starring George Lopez as Mexican Trump has been viewed over 10 million times. One thing is for certain, the phenomenon that is Donald Trump has just begun giving comedians material. Now that his head is now swollen from his NH win, he will surely be acting an even bigger fool than ever before.
Imagine the possibilities.
