How does a 67-year-old, frankly ill-appearing Donald Trump keep up with men in their early 40’s on the campaign trail? I would say his orange complexion was due to too many hours under the sun lamp, but now I’m not so sure. The man appears to be sick, but not how you might imagine.
Some days he is mellow and loves everybody, the next he is egging people to throw the bums (protestors) out of his rallies. Every day he is paranoid. Trump is the one who started the Obama “birther” movement, which claims our president was born in another country, which might be true, if you believe Hawaii was another country.
Now, Trump has taken his paranoia further, planning on building a Wall Of China between the US and Mexico.
There is no day he is not a HUUUUGE narcissist. He loves everybody (except undocumented immigrants). He is richer than God, and China loves him. Plus, Trump extends that narcissism to his family, thinking he might date his daughter, if he were not her father. Ewwwww.
So, what’s going on with the big guy inside of the Trump Tower? In 1992, “Spy” magazine did an expose on Dr. Joseph Greenberg. The good doctor was an amphetamine pill mill for the rich and famous, and who is richer or more famous than the Donald?
Greenberg treated Trump from 1982 to 1985. Apparently, both of the Trump boys went to him for “metabolic imbalances.” Basically, Trump was terrified of gaining weight. So the doctor prescribed a so-called miracle drug Tenuate Dospan.
So what does the National Institute Of Health (NIH) have to say about this little miracle worker, which is no longer on the market?
The drug can cause:
‘…Seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there, severe mental changes, depression, slurred speech, the inability to speak, confusion, nervousness…[and it is] “habit-forming.’
Trump boasts he never took a drink of alcohol, and repeated this simple message to his children:
‘I’d say, ‘No drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes. No drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes.’
Yet, Trump slammed the US drug enforcement policy as “a joke,” arguing that if we legalized and regulated the narcotics industry, the resulting tax dollars could be used to educate people about the seriousness of drugs and addiction:
‘We’re losing badly the war on drugs. You have to legalize drugs to win that war. You have to take the profit away from these drug czars.’
“Spy” magazine claimed there were photocopies of Trump’s actual medical records, while he was a patient of Dr. Greenberg, for “many, many visits.”
“Spy” published photocopies of Trump’s medical records in 1992 [via Gawker]. This was long before HIPPA medical record protections. Unfortunately, the report by “Spy” isn’t the only mention of Trump’s preference for amphetamines.
“Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives Of Donald J Trump,” is a controversial biography of Trump, by Harry Hurt and published in 1993. He said that Greenberg’s amphetamine prescriptions were responsible for “Donald’s mood swings” and “his fits of distemper [bad temper].”
So does the Donald still take the drugs? Who knows? We’ll just have to watch and see.
