A new ORC International poll released March 1st says that Donald Trump doesn’t have a chance in hell of beating either of the Democratic candidates, regardless of which of them receives the Democratic nomination. Not only is the ORC poll packed with valuable information and statistics, but there is also a comparison of past percentages to current ones.
According to the webpage, the poll is made up of:
‘Interviews with 1,001 adult Americans conducted by telephone by ORC International on February 24 – 27, 2016. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
The sample also includes 920 interviews among registered voters (plus or minus 3 percentage points).
This sample includes 600 interviews among landline respondents and 401 interviews among cell phone respondents.’
People were asked questions about who they believed would be best in areas like foreign policy, economy, healthcare, race relations, terrorism, immigration, and gun policy. They were also asked who they viewed favorably in the media.
The following image portrays popularity among Democratic politicians. Bernie Sanders barely beats Bill Clinton, but wipes the floor with Hillary, leading one to think that maybe so many people are voting Hillary because her husband is a beloved ex-President. If Hillary didn’t have Bill in her corner, it is likely that she would have far less people backing her.
So there you have it! Donald Trump can’t even beat Bill Clinton in the 2016 election, and Bill Clinton isn’t even in the running! So rest your weary heads because whether it’s Hillary or Bernie, there will be another Democrat in the White house come January.
