Twitter Sounds Off On That ‘Heil Drumpf’ Photo

At a rally speech in Orlanda, Florida, Donald Trump told his fans to raise their right hands and pledge to vote for him during the upcoming Florida primaries on March 15.

“He made them repeat, ‘I do solemnly swear… that I, no matter how I feel, no matter what the conditions, if there’s a hurricane or whatever… will vote on or before the 12th for Donald J. Trump for president!’”

The ensuing image was astoundingly familiar, even frighteningly so.

Twitter wasted no time making a connection between this photo and photos of a certain…historical figure.

That’s right. The raise-your-right-hand pledge photo looked very similar to the way Nazi followers greeted this guy:

The irony was lost on no one, particularly not those on Twitter.

We ask that all voters fight this growing phenomenon by following the advice of Twitter user, @Phxwarpedview, who reminded us that some people still have sense and even the ability to think, like this guy:
