Corey Lewandowski is one of the many losers that Donald Trump surrounds himself with on the campaign trail, and much like his boss, he too has a problem with women in positions of power. The incident happened yesterday involving Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, when she was reportedly physically assaulted by Lewandowski after asking some questions that Donald couldn’t answer intelligently.
Lewandowski is being accused of attempting to pull Fields to the ground after she asked Trump a question as he was leaving a press conference. According to Politico, secret service agents were attempting to clear a path for The Donald when Lewandowski grabbed Fields by the arm “nearly bringing her down to the ground.”
Jamie Weinstein is the boyfriend of Michelle Fields; he took to Twitter to express his anger at the hooligan-like behavior of people in the Trump campaign. Weinstein said:
“Trump always surrounds himself w thugs. Tonight thug Corey Lewandowski tried to pull my gf @MichelleFields to ground.”
This is nothing new for the Trump campaign, as these incidents seem to be reported weekly since Trump hit the campaign trail in 2015. If it’s not the security throwing people out in frigid temperatures after taking away their coat, it’s Trump’s fans putting their hands on Black Lives Matter protesters who speak out against the racist misogynist.
Breitbart News CEO and President Larry Solov had this to say about Lewandowski putting his hands on a female reporter:
“It’s obviously unacceptable that someone crossed a line and make physical contact with our reporter. What Michelle has told us directly is that someone ‘grabbed her arm’ and while she did not see who it was, Ben Terris of the Washington Post told her that it was Corey Lewandowski. If that’s the case, Corey owes Michelle an immediate apology.”
The video below represents just one incident of violence, and until yesterday’s incident, it was the most recent, Unfortunately, though, it’s far from the last.
