Donald Trump made a now infamous blooper on Monday during his pre-Primary New York rally. The Republican frontrunner mistakenly referred to the awful events of 9/11 as 7/11, which didn’t go unnoticed. The incident was captured on CNN:

In case you can’t watch the video, here’s a transcript:

‘I wrote this out, and it’s very close to my heart because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.’

Since the gaff, Trump has been mercilessly mocked by pretty much everyone, or at least everyone who saw the rally. Now some of the people Trump has spent his campaign abusing and deriding have jumped on this opportunity to even the score. The Trump campaign has been notorious for its mistreatment of Mexicans.

Some of Trump’s greatest Mexican hits include:

The time he called Mexicans criminals and rapists

That other time he called Mexicans criminals and rapists

That time he condoned his followers beating up a Hispanic man, or this one:

That doesn’t include his deranged plan to build a wall across the Mexican border.

So acclaimed Mexican actress Salma Hayek, probably best known for her roles in Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Frida, and the criminally underrated Everly, struck back at Trump on Twitter:

It’s not the first time the actress has spoken out against Trump. In an interview with Marc Malkin, Hayek made reference to Trump’s hatred of Mexicans:

‘I’m aware that he would say anything to attract attention and create the publicity around him, if something generates publicity, I would never be surprised about anything he does. I’d be surprised if he did something courageous and meaningful that nobody found out about, this was not courageous and meaningful.’

Unfortunately for smart, sensible people like Salma Hayek, Trump’s racist nonsense doesn’t show any signs of stopping, and it isn’t hurting his popularity. The Donald won the New York Primary, deftly defeating his Republican opponents, becoming one step closer to finally realizing his dream of building a wall to keep all those mean Mexican rapists out.
