An explosive device has gone off at a California high school. According to authorities, no one was injured. The device, described as “some sort of bomb,” was brought to the school by a 15-year-old student.
BREAKING: Police in California responding to school bomb explosion, according to reports

Authorities initially responded to the bomb threat at just before 10 AM local time. No motive has been given for the attempted attack.
The violence just doesn’t stop. The few stand and call out to look at the atrocities and still they go on. What will it take for lawmakers to act? Hundreds dead? Hundreds of children?
Wake up call: Since the beginning of 2016, 1,142 persons under the age of 17 have been killed by gun violence alone in the United States of America.
Wake up. This isn’t normal or acceptable.
Everyone remembers the terror attacks in Paris last November. Approximately 150 people were killed. In the United States, since January 1, 2016, the equivalent of the Paris attacks have happened about 8 times, just among children.
You cannot console yourself by saying, oh, it could have been worse. It is worse. The same reasons for this attempted bombing are the reasons behind the deaths of over 1100 children in 2016 already.
You remember that tweet above the first one, from Scott Campbell? It is from a journalist in Great Britain. That’s because America doesn’t take things seriously unless the media tells us to. And that’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. What do we talk about? What the media talks about.
The problem is that there is a world beyond the media. Did you hear about the bomb threat to Jewish schools in Florida back in February? Didn’t think so. Hundreds of people, including schools full of children, were in danger. But you didn’t hear about it.
Did you know that such a high number of children have been killed by violence in the United States since January 1? Didn’t think so either. If you did, you deserve serious respect.
The school was swept and “deemed safe,” as you can see below. Yet again, the journalist reporting is not even from the United States, but rather, he is “London based.”
