‘Racist McShootFace’ Bids $65 Million For George Zimmerman’s Gun

George Zimmerman is trying to auction off the gun that he used to kill Trayvon Martin, however, there have been some problems with that. The gun posted at Gunbroker.com as item #558112068 was quickly removed. That action was likely due to a public backlash. GunBroker.com locked down its Twitter account as the auction was announced. That account no longer has protected tweets.

A second website, United Gun Group, announced an auction on the gun used to kill the teeanger. That, too, didn’t go down well. It appears the auction was trolled in real life after being hijacked by fake accounts posting enormously high bids. Also, too, I noticed United Gun Group’s website appeared to be down for several hours late yesterday.

The Associated Press reports:

At one point early Friday, the bidding surpassed $65 million with the leading bidder using the screen name “Racist McShootFace.” The site later showed that account had been deleted.

Other screen names of bidders on the site included “Donald Trump,” ”shaniqua bonifa” and “Tamir Rice,” the name of a black 12-year-old who was shot and killed by Cleveland police in 2014 while playing with a pellet gun.

United Gun Group describes itself as a “social market place for the firearms community.” Bidding on the 9 mm Kel-Tec PF-9 pistol used to kill Trayvon Martin began at $5,000.

As for the first site, GunBroker.com, they released a statement which read, in part:

Our site rules state that we reserve the right to reject listings at our sole discretion, and have done so with the Zimmerman listing.

We want no part in the listing on our web site or in any of the publicity it is receiving.

However, GunBroker.com sold targets resembling Trayvon Martin in 2012, but after a News 6 reporter wrote about that, it was removed, too.

In July of 2013, the Buckeye Firearms Foundation, an Ohio based gun rights group, sent George Zimmerman a check for $12,150 in order to replenish his personal arsenal.

Buckeye Firearms solicited donations from its members in order to replace the gun, which was at the time, in the hands of the Justice Department.

Also, a right-wing author offered to buy Zimmerman a gun and some ammo, then present it to him on television. The acquitted killer became a right-wing hero as conservatives cheered on his acquittal. That is, until he repeatedly got into trouble with the law after his acquittal.

Since Zimmerman’s acquittal, he has been charged with assault based on complaints from two girlfriends. Later, both women refused to press charges.

Shellie Zimmerman, his estranged wife, accused him of smashing her iPad during an argument only days after she filed divorce papers.

To top all of that off, Zimmerman even toured the factory which made the gun used to kill Trayvon. On Twitter, he even retweeted images of Trayvon’s lifeless body. But that’s not what got him suspended on the social site. Zimmerman posted adult pictures of his ex-girlfriend (see: revenge porn) accusing her of cheating on him with, according to his own tweet, “a dirty Muslim.”

In another tweet, he included a phone number “with a Kentucky area code,” which appeared to belong to that woman. Yes, he doxed his girlfriend. The Conservative hero is that kind of guy.

And now he’s ‘met’ Racist McShootFace, who out-trolled him online. Well done, Mr. McShootFace.
