By now it’s no secret that Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump are at war with one another. In fact, the two have actually been trading insults for years, but now that Trump has become the GOP’s de facto nominee for the nation’s highest elected office, the stakes are certainly higher, to say the least. Honestly, few people could have predicted Trump’s rise and the fact is that his message, however vague or oversimplified, resonates with certain Americans.

One of Trump’s favorite tropes is that the media treats him unfairly. Actually it seems everyone treats Trump unfairly whenever they don’t say exactly what he would like them to say. But for some reason, O’Donnell has dedicated herself to mocking this particular Trumpism on Twitter today by retitling news stories so they more fairly reflect Trump’s real role in them.

For example, you may have heard that Trump is odds with the federally appointed judge who is hearing the Trump University case. That’s right, the judge, according to Trump, has treated him unfairly. Media coverage really has taken it easy on Trump over his blatantly racist reaction to the situation and so O’Donnell decided she would help even things out on Twitter.

In this case O’Donnell has taken the “Huffington Post” title “Judge Criticized by Trump Unseals Documents in Trump University Case” and turned it into something a bit more accurate. The media is unfair to Trump, really? It looks as if it is reporting something very close to what Trump thinks they ought to say about the situation.

This time O’Donnell takes “The Washington Post” to task. Their title “Even in Victory, Donald Trump Can’t Stop Airing his Grievances” doesn’t quite capture the racist belligerence Trump continues to aim at Latinos, most especially Mexicans. So, Rosie O’Donnell hilariously does the newspaper a favor by fixing the problem and simultaneously mocking Trump because if he’s actually going to behave this way maybe he ought to be the one deported and banned.

Rosie O’Donnell makes light of a serious subject here, but she does it in a way that ought to get people’s attention. At the end of the day, however, the onus is on American voters to prove to each other and the world that the country is better than Trump. Watch below as O’Donnell takes the stage to mock Trump over the weekend in Atlantic City.
